This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.

Animation Shop (Optional)

PTU Tube:  I am using Enamorte's gorgeous tube 85-2.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper license.  

You can purchase this tube at CDO here. 

PTU Kit:  I am using a beautiful kit called "Color Pop 9" created by Karmalized Scraps.  This kit can be purchased at CDO here. 

Mask:  Mask 3 by Minja Designs.  You can get it from her blog here.  Open and minimize in PSP.

Font of choice for you name.

Plug in: None

Drop shadow of choice.

Vivienne's Paintbox has awesome drop shadow settings that I use a lot.  You can find the settings here and check out her awesome tutorials :)

Anytime you resize an element or tube you should sharpen it.  I do this for each layer I resize.  Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen.

Let's get started.

Open a new 750x800 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Add a new layer and flood fill with white.

Copy Minja mask 3 and close the original.  Select the white layer and paste.  Resize 85%.  Select all, float, defloat and add a new raster layer.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 10, copy and close the original.  Select your new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none and delete the original mask layer.

Open element 42, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 60% and sharpen.  Move to the upper right of the mask and drop shadow.

Open Frame 3, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 50% and sharpen.  Move to the top just sightly to the left of the tree.  Using your magic wand, click in the center of the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Select the tree layer and add a new raster layer.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 9, copy and close the original.  Select the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections, select none and drop shadow the frame.

Open element 5, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 50% and sharpen.  Move up so it is on the right side of the frame.  Drop shadow.

Open element 13, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 30%, mirror and sharpen.  Move to the upper left of the frame.  Drop shadow.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Select the leaf layer and paste.  Resize 50% and sharpen.  Move to the far left of the frame.  Drop shadow.

Open element 15, Copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 30%, mirror and sharpen repeat the sharpen.  Move to the far left of the mask almost to the bottom of the frame.  (We will be using this as animation, optional).

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Select the horse layer and paste.  Resize 30% and sharpen.  Move to the far left so it covers the bottom of the pole.  Drop shadow.

Open element 27, copy and close the original.  Select the top lilac layer and paste.  Resize 40% and sharpen, move to the bottom right of the lilac cluster.  Drop shadow.

Open element 17, copy and close the original.  Select the clock layer and paste.  Resize 35%, mirror and sharpen.  Move to the bottom right of the clock.  Drop shadow.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50% and sharpen.  Move to the tube to the left slightly and drop shadow.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom right of the tube and drop shadow.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Select the lantern layer and paste.  Resize 25% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom left so it slightly overlaps the laps the lantern. Drop shadow.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 30% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom just left of the lantern but showing above the towels.  Drop shadow.

Open element 12, copy and close the original.  Select the lantern layer and paste.  Resize 15% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom right of the lantern and drop shadow.

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom of the tube so it covers the bottom edge.  Drop shadow.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the flower layer above the tube and paste.  Resize 25%, mirror and sharpen.  Move to the bottom of the tube so it lines up with her arm roughly.  Drop shadow.

Open element 14, copy and close the original.  Select element 19 layer and paste.  Resize 25% and sharpen. Move to the bottom just left of the towels.  Drop shadow.

Open element 33, copy and close the original.  Select the stone layer and paste.  Resize 15% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom right of the stones.  Drop shadow.

Open element 8, copy and close the original.  Select the towel layer and paste.  Resize 20% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom right of the towels.  Drop shadow.

Open element 45, copy and close the original.  Select the metal lantern layer and paste.  Resize 30% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom left of the stones.  Drop shadow.

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom of the towels and drop shadow.  

Open element 22, copy and close the original.  Select the towel layer and paste.  Resize 30% and sharpen.  Move to the bottom left of the towels.  Drop shadow.

Add any other elements you like.

Crop your tag to get ride of the extra white space around your tag.

Image, resize by 650 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.

Add your copyright and name.

If you do not want to animate.

Hide the white background layer and merge visible.

Save as png.

Animation.

Open Animation shop. 

Back to PSP.  Edit, copy special, copy merged.

Back to animation shop.  Edit, paste as new animation or Ctrl+V.

**Back to PSP.

Select the horse layer.  With your move tool selected, hit the up arrow on your keyboard 10 times.  If you don't see it going up, click on the horse then try the up arrow again.  Once you have moved it x10, go to edit, copy special, copy merged.

Back to Animation shop.  We want to paste this layer after the current frame.  Go to edit, paste after current frame or Shift+Ctrl+L.****

Repeat from ** to ** until you have 10 frames in animation shop.  It will show you how many frames on the bottom right corner.

Next.  We will be working with just animation shop now.

Select all the frames, Edit, select all or Ctrl+A.

Copy all the frames, Edit, Copy or Ctrl+C.

Now select the very last frame in your animation.  When you click the last frame a blue highlight will be around the frame.  On the last frame?  Now go to edit, paste after current frame or Shift+Ctrl+L.  All your new frames will still be highlighted, this is good.  Now go to animation, Reverse Frames.  Now select frame 11 and delete it, edit, delete, or just hit delete on your keyboard.  

You should have a total of 19 frames.

Go to View, Animation.  A new window will pop up and show your animation.  If you like the speed of the animation skip the next step.

Now in Animation shop go to Edit, select all.  I want to slow the animation down.  Go to Animation, Frame properties and on the display time tab change the number to 15.  The higher the number the slower the animation.  Click ok.

Go to file Save as and click next and next until you hit finished.  I use the default settings.
