This tutorial was written by me on May 20, 2020. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Kit:  I am using a beautiful kit called "Fanta Sea" created by Tiny Turtle Designs.  This kit can be purchased here.   

Mask:  Mask 44 by Vivienne's Paintbox.  You can get it here.  Open in PSP and mirror it.  I used the jpg version.

Font of choice for you name.

Plug in: None.

Drop shadow of choice.

Vivienne's Paintbox has awesome drop shadow settings that I use a lot.  You can find the settings here and check out her awesome tutorials :)

Anytime you resize an element or tube you should sharpen it.  I do this for each layer I resize.  Go to Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen.

Let's get started.

Open a new 750x800 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Add a new layer and flood fill with white.

Open paper 1, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer.  Go to Layers, new mask layer, from image.  In the Source window, select Mask_Viv_044. Source luminance selected, Invert mask data unchecked, click ok.  Merge group. You can close the mask as we no longer require it.  Duplicate the mask layer and merge down.

Open element 107, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper right corner of the mask.

Open element 133, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper left corner of the mask.

Open element 55, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper right corner of the mask.

Open element 125, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper right corner so it is above the coral.  

Open element 121, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper left corner of the mask.

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper center corner of the mask.

Open element 115, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper right so it covers the bottom of the coral.

Open element 119, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the far right so it covers the bottom of the stones.

Open element 99, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move up and slightly to the right so it covers the bottom of the castle and rock.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move up and slightly to the left side of the mask.

Open element 5, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move up and slightly to the left side of the mask.

Open element 57, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 65%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the left so it looks like it is sitting on the rocks.

Open element 80, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Move to the bottom right of the mask so it looks like it is under the greenery.  Duplicate three more times for a total of 4 sand layers.  Move them around the bottom of the mask so the sand looks scattered.  Once happy with placement Select the top duplicate sand layer and merge down.  Repeat the merge down until the sand layers are one and drop shadow.

Open element 79, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left.  See mine for placement.

Open element 61, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom right. See mine for placement.

Open element 117, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the center of the tag.  See mine for placement.

Open element 72, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left in front of the rocks.

Open element 70, copy and close the original.  Select the cacti layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left so it shows between the rocks.

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Select the cacti layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left but on the right side of the rocks.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select the top rock layer and paste.  Resize 70%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move it so it is behind the tube.

Open element 74, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move it to the bottom of the tube.

Open element 95, copy and close the original.  Select the top rock layer and paste.  Resize 35%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move it to the right so it is behind the bubble and in front of the coral.

Open element 122, copy and close the original.  Select the turtle layer and paste.  Resize 25%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move it to the left so it is behind the bubble and in front of the pink sea weed.

Open element 131, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move it to the bottom right so it is above the star fish.

Open element 50, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25%, sharpen, mirror and drop shadow.  Move it to the bottom left so it is at the top of the rocks.

Add any other elements you like.

Image, resize by 650 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.

Add your copyright and name.

Hide the white layer and merge visible.

Save as png.
