This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.

Animation shop (optional)

PTU Tube:  I am using Rebecca Sinz beautiful tube "Spirit Guides".  Please do not use this tubes without a proper license.  

You can purchase this tube at her store here. 

PTU Kit:  I am using an stunning kit called "Dream Catcher" created by Doodle by Design.  You can purchase her kits  here. 

PTU Animation:  I am using Rebel Dezigns animation 1079 from pack 359.  You can purchase her animation at CDO here.

Mask:  Mask 126 by Moonbeams and Spiderwebs.  You can get it here.  Open and minimize in PSP. 

Font of choice

Plug in: Mura Meister - copies and Eyecandy 4000 Gradient glow

Drop shadow of choice.

Vivienne's Paintbox has awesome drop shadow settings that I use a lot.  You can find the settings here and check out her awesome tutorials :)

Anytime you resize an element or tube you should sharpen it to make the image crisp again.  I do this for each layer I resize.  To do this go to Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen.

Let's get started.

Open a new 750x800 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Add a new layer and flood fill with white.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 13, copy and close the original.  Select the white layer and paste.  Go to Layers, new mask layer, from image.  In the drop down select mask 126 from the drop down and click on invert mask data to select it.  Click ok and merge group.

Open Frame 7, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70% and sharpen.  Using your magic wand, click in each of the openings of the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Select the mask layer and add a new raster layer.  Open paper of choice, I am using paper 1, copy and close the original.  Select the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections, select none.  Drop shadow the frame.

Copy the tube, I used tube 2, select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 85%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move slightly up.  Duplicate and on the top tube layer go to adjust, blur, Gaussian blur set to 5 and click ok.  Change the blend mode for this layer to soft light.

Open element 133, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Move to the upper left corner of the mask.  Duplicate and move to the bottom right corner of the mask.

Open element 59, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40% and sharpen.  Effects, Mura Meister, copies.  In the drop down select encircle. Change the number to 12 and leave everything else as default and click ok.  Move the cluster layer under your paper layer.  Resize 90% and drop shadow.

Open element 54, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40% and sharpen.  Effects, Mura Meister, copies.  In the drop down select encircle. Change the number to 15 and leave everything else as default and click ok.  Move the cluster layer under the flower cluster layer.  Resize 105% and drop shadow.

Open element 70, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 35% and sharpen.  Effects, Mura Meister, copies.  In the drop down select encircle. Change the number to 10 and leave everything else as default and click ok.  Move the cluster layer under the leaf cluster layer.  Drop shadow.

Open element 47, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 35%, image, flip and sharpen.  Effects, Mura Meister, copies.  In the drop down select encircle. Change the number to 13 and leave everything else as default and click ok.  Move the cluster layer under the leaf cluster layer.  Drop shadow.

Open element 39, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 35% and sharpen.  Effects, Mura Meister, copies.  In the drop down select encircle. Change the number to 14 and leave everything else as default and click ok.  Move the cluster layer to the bottom of the other cluster layers.  Drop shadow.

Resize each of the Cluster layers by 95% and make any adjustments to they are around the frame.

Open element 46, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 40%, mirror and sharpen.  Move to the lower right of the tube.  Drop shadow.

Open Wordart 2, copy and close the original.  Select the eagle layer and paste.  Resize 70% and sharpen.  Apply eyecandy gradient glow with the following settings: Basic tab Glow width set to 5 all other settings leave as default.  Color tab click on Medium and click ok.  Apply a drop shadow.  Move to the bottom right so it is over the tube and eagle.  Drop shadow.

Open element 147, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper right of the frame so the top is above the owl. 

Open element 80, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 35%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom right so it is behind the eagle.

Open element 77, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the right so it is behind the grass.

Open element 98, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left so it is behind the bear and wolf.

Open element 85, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow. Duplicate and merge down.  Move to the left so it is behind the bear and deer.

Open element 42, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left so it is behind the wordart.

Open element 43, copy and close the original.  Select the drum layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left of the drum.

Open element 28, copy and close the original.  Select the drum layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom of the drum.

Open element 54, copy and close the original.  Select the drum layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom right of the drum.

Open element 82, copy and close the original.  Select the fern layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom right of the drum.

Add any other elements you like.

Image, resize by 650 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.

Add your copyright and name.

If you do not want to animate, hide the white background layer and merge visible.

Save as png.

Well that was a long tutorial.  Might want to get up and stretch and maybe grab a coffee :)

Animation:

Open Animation shop.  We will get back to this soon.

Back to psp.  Open Rebel Dezigns animation 1079.  I cull the animation by selecting each odd layer.  Hold your ctrl down and select each odd layer (the select layers will be highlighted in blue).  Once you have all the odd layers selected go to Layers, new layer group.  When the pop up window appears click ok.  Scroll all the way to the top and click on the little white arrow beside the group to collapse it.

Select the group layer so it is highlighted. and click on the link icon in the layer tool bar.  Edit, copy.  Select your tag layer and paste as a new layer.  Close the original animation and do not save changes.

When you paste the animation it will always paste above the top layer.  Select the group layer and drag it down until it is just below the frame layer but above the paper layer.

Image resize, 40% and move the group down so it is over the frame layer.  Move the animation down so it is showing above the top of the frame.  I also used the pick tool to pull in the sides of the animation so it does not sow past the tree on the left or the deer head on the right.

Expand the animation by clicking on the little white arrow beside the group 1.  We need to hide some of the layers.  Standing on the group 1 layer, click on the eye next to layer 25 to hide it.  Repeat the hiding of each layer until you reach Frame layer 1.  We need this layer visible.

Go to edit, copy special, copy merged.

Go to Animation Shop, Edit paste as new animation or Ctrl+V.

**Back to psp. 

Hide frame 1 of the animation and unhide frame 3.  Edit, copy special, copy merged.

Back to Animation shop.  We need to paste this after our current frame.  Go to edit, paste, after current frame or Shift+Ctrl+L.**

Repeat ** to ** until you have 13 frames in animation shop.  It will tell you how many frames you have on the bottom right corner of animation shop.

Now in Animation shop go to Edit, select all.  I want to slow the animation down.  Go to Animation, Frame properties and on the display time tab change the number to 15.  The higher the number the slower the animation.  Click ok.

Go to file Save as gif and click next and next until you hit finished.  I use the default settings.
