This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a beautiful tube called "Steampunk 35" created by Verymany.  Please do not use this tube without a proper license.

PTU Kit:  I am using a gorgeous matching kit called "Steam Time" created by Dreaming with Bella.  You can purchase this beautiful kit here.

Mask:  Mask 66 by Vivienne's Paintbox. Thank you for your awesome masks.  You can download it from her blog here. I am using the jpg versions for this tutorial.  Open and minimize in PSP.

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: None

Drop shadow of choice.

Vivienne's Paintbox has awesome drop shadow settings that I use a lot.  You can find the settings here and check out her awesome tutorials :)

Anytime you resize an element or tube you should sharpen it.  Go to adjust, sharpness, sharpen.

Let's get started.

Remember to save your tag often in case psp crashes.  I always save my tags as a pspimage.  It keeps all the layers and if you make tags for others you will always have the template.

Open a new 750x800 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Add a new layer and flood fill with white.

Add a new raster layer and select all.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 15, copy and close the original.  On the new raster layer, go to edit, paste into selections, select none.  Layers, new mask layer, from image and locate Vivienne's mask in the drop down and click ok.  Merge group.

Open Mask 1, select the top layer and paste.

Open element 158, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Drop shadow and move up and to the left slightly.

Open element 40, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the top right of the mask.

Open element 113, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the top left of the gold mask.

Open element 128, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the top left over the gold leaves.

Open element 102, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the top left over the dial.

Open element 54, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the top right of the mask.

Open element 71, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Drop shadow.

Open element 82, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the top center of the mask.

Open element 177, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper left so it is over the center of the cog.

Open element 8, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the upper right so it is over to top branch.

Open element 167, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the lower right of the flower cluster.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the right edge of element 167.

Open element 111, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the lower right in the middle of element 167.

Open element 121, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50% and sharpen.  Move to the left about midway down of the mask.  Using your magic wand, click in the center of the frame.  Selection,s modify, expand by 5.  Add a new raster layer and move this under the frame layer. Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 10, copy and close the original.  Standing on the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none and drop shadow the frame.

Open element 162, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the left so it is hanging from the middle of the frame.

Open element 142, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the left over the frame.

Open WA 3, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the left over the frame.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 35%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the left over the top of the frame.

Open element 14, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 60%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom of the mask.

Copy your main tube.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 35%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move up slightly.

Open element 92, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Drag this layer under the ground spray layer and move just left of the tube.

Open element 72, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left of the tube.

Open element 112, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 15%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom.

Open element 45, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25%, sharpen, mirror and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom of the gauge.

Open element 79, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 18%, sharpen, mirror and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom of the gauge.

Open element 171, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom of the tube.

Open element 147, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left of the luggage.

Open element 59, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left of the tube.

Open element 182, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom of the luggage.

Open element 168, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 12%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom of the glove.

Open element 133, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom.
