Behind the mask
This tutorial was written by me on May 30, 2024. The results
are of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely
coincidental.

This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of
PSP.
Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am
creating it.
Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things
so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)
Supplies needed
I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any
version.
PTU Tube: I am using a gorgeous multi layered tube called “Inessa” by Lady Sky. You can purchase her beautiful tubes at VM Artists here.
PTU Kit: I am using a gorgeous matching kit called "Behind the Mask" created by Curious Creative Dreams. You can purchase the kit here.
Mask: Mask_Vivienne_0092 by Vivienne. Thank you for your awesome masks. You can download it from her blog here. I am using the png versions for this tutorial.
Font of choice for your name.
Plug in: None
Drop shadow of choice. I am using Vertical 0,
Horizontal 3, Opacity 85, Blur 10, color black.
An image can get blurred when you resize an element or tube
in PSP. I use unsharpen mask for each
item. Vivienne has wonderful tips and
tricks on how to do this here.

Let’s get started.
Open a new 800x800 transparent
image. We will resize later. Flood
fill with white.
Remember to sharpen and drop shadow each image as you create
the tag.
Copy and paste Vivienne’s mask in PSP. Resize 80%.
Select all, float, defloat and add a new raster layer. Copy paper of choice. I am using paper 15. Standing on the new raster layer, paste into
selections. Select none and delete the
original mask layer. Move the mask to
the top center of the tag. Duplicate the
mask. Mirror and resize 80%. Drag this layer under the first mask layer
and move to the bottom of the tag.
Frame 1 – Resize 40% and move to the upper right of the
large mask. Using the magic wand, click
in the center of the frame. Selections,
modify, expand by 5. Add a new raster
layer and drag this under the frame layer.
Copy paper of choice. I am using
paper 16. Select the new raster layer
and paste into selections. Deselect and
drop shadow the frame.
Element 24 – Resize 20% and move to the top left of the
frame. Drop shadow.
Element 23 – Resize 30% and move to the lower right of element
24. Drop shadow.
Element 13 – Resize 20% and move to the bottom right of the
house. Drop shadow.
Element 79 – Resize 15% and move to the lower left of the
house. Drop shadow.
Element 57 – Resize 55% and move to the bottom left of the
mask. Drop shadow.
Element 32 – Resize 10% and move to the lower left of the
chair. Drop shadow.
Element 6 – Resize 10% and move to the lower left of the
chair. Drop shadow.
Element 33 – Resize 10% and move to the lower right of the leaves. Drop shadow.
Element 3 – Resize 10% and move to the lower right of the
candle. Drop shadow.
Element 72 – Resize 20% and move to the lower right of the
chair. Drop shadow.
Element 62 – Resize 15% and move to the lower left of the
smaller mask. Drop shadow.
Element 55 – Resize 10% and move to the lower right of the doll. Drop shadow.
Element 88 – Resize 6% and move to the lower left of the
bowl. Drop shadow.
Element 15 – Resize 5% and move to the lower right of the
bowl. Drop shadow.
Element 56 – Resize 6%, mirror and move to the lower right
of the flower. Drop shadow.
Tube: Resize 10% and
drop shadow. Move to the lower center of
the tag.
Element 54 – Resize 12% and move to the bottom of the
tube. Drop shadow.
Element 41 – Resize 7% and move to the lower left of the
tube by the girl doll. Drop shadow.
Element 65 – Resize 10% and move to the lower left of the
tube. Drop shadow.
Element 29 – Resize 8% and move to the lower right of the
bowl. Drop shadow.
Element 84 – Resize 5% and move to the bottom of the
mask. Drop shadow.
Element 40 – Resize 7% and move to the bottom of the
bird. Drop shadow.
Element 10 – Resize 10% and move to the lower left of the
mask. Drop shadow.
Crop and resize your tag. I resize mine to 650px on
the width (if needed) as that is what fits my blog best.
Add your name and copyright.
Hide the white background and save as png.

Queen of the Ravens

PTU Kit: I am using Carita Creationz’s gorgeous kit
“Queen of the Ravens” It includes a
gorgeous AI tube which I used in this tutorial.
Mask: Miz_Mask 359.png by Mizteeques. Thank you for your awesome masks. You can download it from her blog here. I am using the png versions for this tutorial.
Font of choice for your name.
Plug in: None

Element 56 – resize 35% and move to the upper left of the
mask. Drop shadow.
Element 29 – resize 15% and move to the left of element
56. Drop shadow.
Element 08 – resize 25%, mirror and move to the bottom right
of element 56. Drop shadow.
Element 49 – resize 30% and move to the lower left of the
mask. Drop shadow.
Element 04 – resize 25% and move to the lower left of
element 56. Drop shadow.
Element 02 – resize 25% and move to the top of element
49. Drop shadow.
Element 05 – resize 15% and move to the bottom of element
02. Drop shadow.
Element 25 – resize 15%, mirror and move to the upper right
of element 5. Drop shadow.
Element 21 – Resize 70% and move to the lower left of
element 56. Using the magic wand, click

Open pp07 in PSP and copy. Close
the original. Standing on the new raster
layer, paste into selections. Select
none and drop shadow the frame.

Element 01 – resize 25% and move to the bottom left of the
tube. Drop shadow.
Element 54 – resize 15% and move to the bottom right of the
tube. Drop shadow.
Element 11 – resize 10% and move to the bottom right of
element 54. Drop shadow.
Element 40 – resize 25% and move to the bottom center of the
tube. Drop shadow.
Element 32 – resize 7% and move to the bottom of element
1. Drop shadow.
Element 62 – resize 15% and move to the bottom left of
element 44. Drop shadow.
Element 61 – resize 5% and move to the lower right of
element 62. Drop shadow.

Vintage Haunting

Supplies needed
I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.
Animation shop
PTU tube: I am using a fabulous new Barbara Jensen animated tube "Sad Sack" You can purchase this beauty at Barbara's store here.
PTU Kit: I am using an awesome kit called "Vintage Haunting" created by Pink Paradox Productions. You can purchase this kit at Barbara Jensen's store here.
PTU Animation: Designs by Kiya's animation 64 from package 20. You can purchase this awesome ani at Barbara Jensen's store here.
Mask: Mask 54 by Vivienne's Paintbox. Thank you for your awesome masks. You can download it from her blog here. I am using the jpg versions for this tutorial. Open and minimize in PSP.

Drop shadow of choice.
Vivienne's Paintbox has awesome drop shadow settings that I use a lot. You can find the settings here and check out her awesome tutorials :)
Anytime you resize an element or tube you should sharpen it. Go to adjust, sharpness, sharpen.
Let's get started.
Remember to save your tag often in case psp crashes. I always save my tags as a pspimage. It keeps all the layers and if you make tags for others you will always have the template.
We will be using the psd animation files for this tutorial.
Open a new 750x800 transparent image. We will resize later.
Add a new layer and flood fill with white.
Open paper of choice. I am using paper 23, copy and close the original. Paste as new raster layer then go to Layers, new mask layer, from Image and locate the mask in the drop down. Apply the mask and merge group. Resize by 95%.
Open element 107, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 70%, sharpen and drop shadow. Duplicate and move down and slightly to the right.
Open element 157, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 70% and sharpen. Move to the top of the mask.
Open element 89, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the top center of the mask slightly to the right.
Open element 160, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 30% and again by 70%, sharpen, duplicate, merge down, and drop shadow. Move to the top of the headstone.
Open element 94, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen, and drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the top grass spray.
Open element 56, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20% and again by 80%, free rotate to the right by 20 degrees, sharpen, and drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the headstone.
Open element 147, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 30%, sharpen, and drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the headstone.
Open element 29, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 15%, sharpen, and drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the picture.
Open element 4, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen, and drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the of the bottles.
Open element 145, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 30%, sharpen, and drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the of the picture.
Open element 144, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 50%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the top left of the mask. Duplicate and move to the right of element 89. Duplicate one more time and move to the right of the second headstone and up slightly.
Open element 133, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the left over the bottom left grass layer. Use the erase tool to erase the part that is showing on the grass past the building.
Open element 106, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the top of the mask over the left grass layer.
Open element 163, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the center of the building.
Open element 84, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the building.
Open element 132, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the top left of the of the board.
Open element 69, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move over the leaf that is on the board.
Open element 82, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the left of the mail.
Open element 97, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the of the board.
Open element 62, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the well.
Open element 134, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the left of the clock.
Open element 126, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the left of the clock.
Open element 138, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 15%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the clock.
Open element 5, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the clock.
Open element 39, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the clock.
Open element 109, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 15%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the pumpkin.
Open element 3, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the pumpkin.
Open element 104, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 30%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the green spray.
Open element 25, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, mirror, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the phonograph.
Open element 23, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the hat slightly to the left.
As it is hard to picture the tag without a tube, I opened the psd file in paint shop and copied one of the tubes from the animation. Once you have copied your tube, close the psd file but do not save. Back to the tag. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 17% and move to the bottom of the rocks. I am not going to be doing any drop shadow or anything as I will be deleting this layer. I just need a visual of tube on the tag. We will also be using this as a marking place for the animation later.
Open element 108, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 70%, sharpen and drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the mask.
Add any other elements you like and make any adjustments to the layers.
Crop away any extra space. Resize 650 on the longest side, all layers checked.
Add your copyright and name.
Animating the tag. Make sure your tag is saved as a psp image file as you do not want to loose it if psp crashes.
Might want to grab a coffee :)
Open Barbara Jensen's animated tube "Sad Sack" Shift + D to duplicate it and close the original. Do not save any changes as a psd file will merge into one layer. We do not want this to happen.
Select the group one layer on the psd file and copy.
Back to your tag. Select the top layer and paste. You can close the duplicate Sad Sack psd file now as it is no longer needed. If you want to save the changes of this file you will need to save it as a pspimage file.
Make sure you are on the group layer, and click the link icon to lock all the layers. Click on the little down arrow beside group one to hide all the sub layers.
Go to Image, resize 15% and make sure all layers are not checked. Ok now we need to drag this layer down the layer pallet to the temp tube layer. Select the pick tool and move move her over the temp tube. Delete the temp tube layer.
Now that we resized the animation, we will need to sharpen and drop shadow each layer. Carefully, select each layer and do the following. Select layer 1 Adjust sharpness, sharpen and drop shadow. Repeat this for the remaining 15 layers. When clicking on the layer make sure you do not move the tube. Once you have all 16 layers sharpened and drop shadowed, hide all the layers and make sure only layer one is visible. Select the group layer and click on the arrow to hide the sub layers.
If you do not want to use a second animation skip to the Open Animation shop step.
Open Designs by Kiya's animation 64. Shift + D to duplicate it and close the original. Do not save any changes as a psd file will merge into one layer. We do not want this to happen.
You will notice the animation is pink but I want it more black and white. Starting with frame 16.
Select frame 16 layer, Go to effects, photo effect, black and white film. I used the default settings. Click ok. Repeat the black and white film effect on all the frame layers.
We need to group all the layers. Starting from layer 16, hold down your control key and select each layer so the next one will be 15 then 14 etc. Once all the layers are selected (the layers will be highlighted in blue). All layers selected? Next we need to group these layers. Go to Layers, New layer group. Scroll all the way to the top and you will see Group 1 with all the layers as sub layers. Click on the eyeball beside each layer to hide it and only leave frame layer 1 visible.
Select group 1, copy and close the original. Select your tag layer and paste. When you paste grouped layers it will always go to the top. Standing on group one select the link icon to link all the layer. When you paste the animation it will automatically rename to Group 2. Click the arrow beside the new group to hide all the sub layers.
Drag this group down the layer pallet to a spot you like. I dragged it down to just below the tube group. Resize 50%. Select the pick tool and move the animation behind the tube.
Ok we are now finished our tag and ready to animate.
Open Animation shop and go back to psp.
With only frame 1 of both animations visible, edit, copy special, copy merged.
Back to Animation shop.
Edit, paste as new animation or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V.
**Back to psp.
Hide Frame 1 by clicking on the eyeball and unhide frame 2 by clicking on the eyeball. You need to do this for each animation. Edit, copy special, copy merged.
Back to Animation Shop.
We need to paste after current frame. Go to edit, paste after current frame. Keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl+L**
Repeat from **to** until you have 16 frames in animation shop. It will tell you on the bottom right corner how many frames you have.
Now we need to slow down the animation. Go to Edit, select all or Ctrl + A. Animation, frame properties. In the display Time (in 1/100th sec): box type in 20 and click ok.
Go to file Save as, gif and click next and next until you hit finished. I use the default settings.

Gothic Romance

You can purchase this tube at VMA store here.
PTU Kit: I am using a beautiful matching kit called "Gothic Romance" created by Tiny Turtle Designs. This kit can be purchased at her store here.
Mask: Mask 856 by Rachel Designs. You can get it here. Open and minimize in PSP.
Font of choice for you name.

Open element 50, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 65%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the top right of the mask. Duplicate and move to the far right and down slightly.
Open element 65, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the top left of the mask.
Open element 45, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 60%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the top of the mask.
Open element 30, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 60% & sharpen. Move to the top slightly to the left. Using your magic wand, click inside the keyhole. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Add a new raster layer and move it under the Key hole element. Open paper of choice. I am using paper 8, copy and close the original. Select the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections, select none and drop shadow the key hole element.
Open element 104, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 60%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the left covering the bottom of the key hole element.
Open element 121, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Mirror & drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the trees.
Open element 85, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the left covering the bottom of the key hole element.
Open element 90, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40% & sharpen. Move to the left covering the flower element. Using you magic wand, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Add a new raster layer and move this layer under the frame layer. Open paper of choice. I am using paper 4, copy and close the original. Standing on the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections. Select none and drop shadow the frame.
Open element 10, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 30%, sharpen, free rotate to the left by 20 degrees & drop shadow. Move to the right covering part of the crystal element. Duplicate and drag this layer under the paper layer of the frame. Move to the left of the frame.
Open element 22, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the left covering the bottom of the frame.
Open element 109, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the left covering the bottom of the frame.
Copy your tube, select the top layer and paste. Resize 40% and move to the bottom right of the mask. Sharpen and drop shadow.
Open element 39, copy and close the original. Select the vase layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the right bottom corner so it is behind the tube skirt.
Open element 37, copy and close the original. Select the fan layer and paste. Resize 40%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the fan slightly behind the vase.
Open element 32, copy and close the original. Select the fan layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the fan slightly behind the cage.
Open element 87, copy and close the original. Select the vase layer and paste. Resize 30%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the cage slightly in front of the vase.
Open element 112, copy and close the original. Select the cage layer and paste. Resize 20%, sharpen, free rotate to the right 20 degrees & drop shadow. Move to the bottom of the cage slightly behind the vase.
Open element 73, copy and close the original. Select the vase layer and paste. Resize 15%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the bottle.
Open element 33, copy and close the original. Select the purple rose layer and paste. Resize 30%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the bottle.
Open element 122, copy and close the original. Select the silver bottle layer and paste. Resize 27%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom right of the bottle.
Open element 5, copy and close the original. Select the bottle layer and paste. Resize 15%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the bottle.
Open element 63, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 35%, sharpen & drop shadow. Move to the bottom left of the tube.
Add any other elements you like.
Image, resize by 650 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.
Add your copyright and name.
Hide the white layer and merge visible.
Save as png.

FTU: Secrets

Open a new 750x800 transparent image. We will resize later.
Add a new raster layer and select all.
Open paper 8, copy and close the original. Edit, paste into selections. Select none. Layers, new mask layer from image. Find Mask 187 in the drop down and click ok. Merge group.
Open SFrameEl03, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Resize 75%. Using your magic wand, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Add a new raster layer Open paper 2, copy and close the original. Standing on the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections. Select none.
Open and copy your tube. Paste as a new layer. Image, resize 75% and move to the left inside edge of the frame. Duplicate, on the duplicate tube, adjust blur, gaussian blur by 5, change the blend mode to soft light. Drop shadow the main tube and frame.
Open SFlowerScatterEl, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste. Move up and slightly to the left. Drop shadow.
Open SDoodleEl01, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Move to up and to the right. Duplicate, image, mirror, image flip. Move slightly to the left. Drop shadow each layer.
Open SIvyEl01, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 75% and move to the right side of the frame. Duplicate. Image, free rotate to the right 90 degrees and move to the bottom of the frame. Drop shadow each layer.
Open SStringEl01, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 40% and move to the bottom right corner of the frame. Drop shadow.
Open SParchmentEl, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 30%. Image, free rotate 20 degrees to the right. Move to the bottom right corner of the frame. Drop shadow.
Open SBookEl01, copy and close the original. Select the top ivy layer and paste. Resize 50% and mirror. Move to the bottom of the frame and slightly to the right. Drop shadow.
Open SWordart El01, copy and close the original. Select the bottom ivy frame and paste. Move to the lower left corner of the frame and drop shadow.
Open SSkullEl01, copy and close the original. Select the doodle layer and paste. Mirror and move to right about midway. Drop shadow.
Open SRibbonEl01, copy and close the original. Select the book layer and paste. Resize 50% and move to the bottom right. Drop shadow.
Open SFlowerEl04, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 60% and move to the far right of the frame. Drop shadow.
Open SLaceHeartEl, copy and close the original. Select the bottom doodle and paste. Resize 75%, image free rotate 90 degrees to the right. Move to the far left. Duplicate and mirror. Move up slightly.
Open SFlowerEl02, copy and close the original. Select the Secret sign layer and paste. Resize 30% and move to the upper left of the book. Duplicate and move to the bottom right corner of the frame. Drop shadow each layer.
Open SFlowerEl05, copy and close the original. Select the top purple flower and paste. Resize 30% and move to the left of the book. Drop shadow.
Open STeardropEl02, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste. Resize 50% and move to the bottom right so you see the teardrops under the ribbon. Drop shadow.
Add any other elements you like.
Merge visible.
Image, resize by 600 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.
Adjust sharpness, Unsharpen mask, radius and clipping set to 5 and strength set to 30. Click ok.
Add your copyright and name.
Save as png.

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V 0 H 5, Opacity 85, blur 10, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.
Let's get started.
Open a new 800x800 transparent image. We will resize later.
Open paper 8, copy and close the original. Add a new raster layer, select all, standing on the new layer, edit, paste into selection. Select none. Layers, new mask layer, from image, in the drop-down box, find Vivienne's mask and select it. Click ok and merge group. You can close the mask now as we will not need it.
Open frame 7, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Resize 85%. Using your magic wand, click in the center of each of the frames. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Open paper 13, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and add a new raster layer. Standing on the new layer, edit, paste into selection, select none. Drop shadow the frame.
Open element 20, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Resize 70% and move to the upper right corner. Drop shadow.
Copy your tube and select the frame layer. Paste as a new layer and move up slightly. Drop shadow.
Open element 48, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste. Resize 60% and move to the upper left frame so he is peeking out from behind the tube. Drop shadow.
Open element 22, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Move to the bottom left and drop shadow.
Open element 29, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Move to the upper left corner so the moon is behind the tree.
Open element 50, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Image, resize 70%, image, free rotate to the left 10 degrees. Move behind the cauldron on the left side and drop shadow.

Open element 14, copy and close the original. Select the cauldron layer and paste. Resize 40% and move to the bottom left corner. Drop shadow.
Open element 9, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 50% and move to the bottom right so it is in front of the bottom frame. Drop shadow.
Open element 28, copy and close the original. Select the cauldron layer and paste. Resize 60% and move down to the left so the bones are in front of the bottom of the fire. Drop shadow.
Open element 23, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 40% and move to the far right so only the purple one is showing behind the pumpkin. Duplicate and bring this layer above the cauldron. Resize 90% and mirror. Move to the far left so it is in front of the grass. Duplicate and move to the bottom right so it is in front of the pumpkin. Drop shadow each layer.
Open element 16, copy and close the original. Select the bottom grass layer and paste. Resize 20% and move to the bottom in front of the grass and behind the bones. Drop shadow.
Open element 49, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste.
Add any other elements you like.
Merge visible.
Select the crop tool and in the toolbar, select the merge opaque box. and click ok
Image, resize by 600 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.
Adjust sharpness, Unsharpen mask, radius and clipping set to 5 and strength set to 30. Click ok.
Add your copyright and name.
Save as png.

Let's get started.
Open a new 750x750 transparent image. We will resize later.
Open paper of choice. I am using paper 3, copy and close the original. Add a new raster layer, standing on the new layer, select all, Edit, paste into selections, select none. Go to Layers, New mask layer, from image. In the Source window, click the drop down and select Mask_0007_DFly, Source Luminance clicked and click ok. Merge group and resize 95%, all layers not checked.
Open frame 2, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and resize 68%. Using your magic wand, click inside the frame, selections, modify, expand by 5. Open paper of choice. I am using paper 2, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and add a new raster layer. Standing on the new layer, edit, paste into selections, select none.
Copy your tube, if you are using the same one as I am, select raster 2 of the tubes. Select the top layer and paste. Move up slightly and drop shadow. Using your magic wand, click inside the frame again. Selections, Invert. Using the eraser tool and standing on your tube layer, erase the bottom part of the tube that is sticking out from the frame. Select none and drop shadow the frame.
Open element 34, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Resize 70% and move to the right and up slightly. Duplicate and move to the left side. Drop shadow each layer.
Open element 16, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste Resize 70% and drop shadow.
Open element 21, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Resize 90% and move to the right and up slightly. Duplicate and mirror. Move down slightly.
Open element 22, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 65% and move to the bottom of the frame and slightly to the left. Drop shadow.
Open element 36, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 20% and move to the bottom left so it lines up with the last skull. Drop shadow.
Open element 19, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 50% and move to the bottom center so the rose overlaps it. Drop shadow.
Open element 12, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 30%. Image, free rotate to the right, 20 degrees. Move to the bottom so it sticks out between the rose and jewel. Drop shadow.
Open element 20, copy and close the original. Select the jewel layer and paste. Resize 60% and move to the bottom so it is slightly above the skulls. Drop shadow.
Open element 17, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 25% and move to the bottom right so it sticks out from behind the card and rose. Drop shadow.
Open element 4, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 20% and move to the bottom left so it lines up with the last skull. Drop shadow.
Open element 23, copy and close the original. Select the blue heart layer and paste. Resize 20% and move to the bottom left so it is between the jewel and black rose. Drop shadow.
Open element 27, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 20% and move to the bottom right so it is on the blue heart. Drop shadow.
Open element 28, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 50% and move to the bottom left. Duplicate and mirror. Move the duplicate up and to the left slightly.
Open element 1, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 15% and move to the top right of the frame. Duplicate and mirror. Move the duplicate to the bottom left just above the black rose. Drop shadow each layer.
Add any other elements you like.
Merge visible.

Open clock, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Resize 70% and move to the upper right corner of the mask. Drop shadow.
Open frame 2, copy and close the original. Select the clock layer and paste. Resize 70% and move to the upper left corner of the mask. Using your magic wand, click inside the frame. Selections, modfiy and expand by 5. Add a new raster layer and move it under the frame. Open paper 3, copy and close the original. Select the new raster layer, edit, paste into selection. Copy your close up tube and paste as a new layer. Move the face into the frame slightly over to the left. Selections, invert and while standing on the tube layer, hit delete on your keyboard. Select none. Change the blend mode to Luminance (L) and lower the opacity to 70. Drop shadow the frame.
Open Hanging tears, copy and close the original Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 60% and move to the center of the frame. Drop shadow.
Copy your main tube. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 80% and move up and slightly to the right. Drop shadow.
Open Doodle, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Move to the far left and up. Drop shadow.
Open Parchement, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste. Resize 75% and mirror. Image, free rotate to the right 20 degrees. Move to the far right and drop shadow.
Open NP2, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste. Move to the bottom of the frame. Drop shadow.
Open flower 2, copy and close the original Select the frame layer and paste. Move to the lower left corner. Duplicate and mirror. Move slightly over to the right and drop shadow each layer.
Open Foliage, copy and close the original. Select the mask layer and paste. Resize 50% and mirror. Move to the left side of the frame. Drop shadow.
Open Butterfly with Glitter, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 60% and move to the bottom left so it covers the top rough edge of the tube. Drop shadow.
Open flower 3, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 40% and move to the bottom center of the tube. Duplicate and move to the upper left so it covers the tube and NP2 corner. Drop shadow each layer.
Open Foliage again, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 30% and free rotate to the right 90 degrees. Move to the bottom right. Duplicate and mirror. Duplicate the original again and move under the right side of the center rose. Duplicate the left foliage and move under the left side of the center rose. Drop shadow each layer.
Open Flower 1, copy and close the original. Select the bottom foliage layer and paste. Resize 30% and move to the bottom right. Duplicate and mirror. Move this layer under the top foliage layer and down to the bottom left. Drop shadow each layer.
Open heart, copy and close the original. Select the tube layer and paste. Resize 60% and move to the far bottom right so it covers the edge of the tube. Drop shadow.
Open Flower 4, copy and close the original. Select the top foliage layer and paste. Resize 35% and move to the bottom right of the center rose. Duplicate and mirror. Move slightly to the right so it is closer to the center rose. Drop shadow each layer.
Add any other elements you like.
Merge visable.
Image, resize by 600 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.
Adjust sharpness, Unsharpen mask, radius and clipping set to 5 and strength set to 40. Click ok.
Add your copyright and name.
Save as png.
