This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.
Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)
Supplies needed:
I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.
I am using Barbara Jensen's awesome FTU tube and kit which you can get at her store here. You will need to register with the store but do not need a license to use this tube and kit.
Font of choice for your name.
Plug in: Toadies, What are you?, Eyecandy 4000 Gradient glow.
Drop shadow of choice.
Vivienne's Paintbox has awesome drop shadow settings that I use a lot. You can find the settings here and check out her awesome tutorials :)
Anytime you resize an element or tube you should sharpen it. I do this for each layer I resize. Go to Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen.
Let's get started.
Open a new 750x800 transparent image and flood fill it with white. We will resize later.
Open element 17, copy and close the original. Paste as a new layer and resize 70%. Move to the center and slightly up to the left. Duplicate and mirror. Move slightly down to the right.
Open element 20, copy and close the original. Paste as a new layer and resize 70%. Move to the center.
Open element 29, copy and close the original. Paste as a new layer and resize 70%. Move up to the left slightly.
Open element 27, copy and close the original. Paste as a new layer and resize 70%. Move to the upper left of the tag. Using your magic wand, click inside each of the circles. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Add a new layer under the frame layer. Open paper of choice. I am using paper 6, copy and close the original. Standing on the new layer, edit, paste into selections. Keep selected. Effects, Toadies, What are you? X and Y set to 20, Click ok. Repeat What are you? with the same settings. Effects, Texture effects, weave with the following settings: Gap size 2, Width 20, Opacity 10, Weave and Gap color both set to white and fill gaps checked. Click ok. Select none and drop shadow the frame.
Open element 19, copy and close the original. Select the frame layer and paste. Image, free rotate to the right by 25 degrees, click ok. Move to the upper right of the black heart. Duplicate, drag this layer under the frame paper layer, mirror and move to the lower left of the frame. See mine for placement. Drop shadow each layer.
Open element 13, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 70% and Image, free rotate to the left by 25 degrees, click ok. Move to the upper right so it is right below the leaf. Drop shadow.
Open element 2, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 50% and mirror. Move to the bottom of the center opening of the frame. Drop shadow.
Open element 8, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 50% and move to the bottom right of the black heart.
Open element 4, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 50%, Image, free rotate to the right by 25 degrees, click ok. Move to the right over the large flower. Drop shadow.
Open element 18, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 50% and move to the bottom left of the frame. Drop shadow.
Open element 28, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 25% and mirror. Move to the bottom of the wordart and drop shadow.
I used the layer tube and selected the black and red layers. Edit, copy special, copy merged. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 80% and move slightly up. Duplicate, on the duplicate, adjust, blur, Gaussian blur with a radius of 5, click ok. Change the blend mode to soft light and Drop shadow the bottom tube layer.
Open element 1, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 70% and move to the bottom right of the tube. Drop shadow.
Open Word art 2, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Apply eyecandy gradient glow with the following settings: Basic tab Glow width set to 5 all other settings leave as default. Color tab click on Medium and click ok. Apply a drop shadow. Move to the bottom right so it is over the flower and part of the tube.
Open element 3, copy and close the original. Select the top layer and paste. Resize 30% and move to the bottom right so it covers the bottom edge of the flower. Drop shadow.
Add any other elements you like.
Image resize 650 pixels on the longest side, all layers checked.
Add your copyright (you can copy and paste the copyright on Barbara's tube) and name. Hide the white layer and save as png.
