This tutorial was written by me on January 2, 2024. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PS.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using Adobe Photoshop 2024 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using Verymany's beautiful tube "Gift with Love". This is an older tube but what a beauty.  Please do not use this tube without a proper license. You can purchase it here.

PTU Kit:  I am using a gorgeous kit called "Hopeless Romantic" created by Doodle by Design.  You can purchase her beautiful kit here.

Mask: Mask:  Mask 0001_DFly by Vivienne's Digital Tagging. Thank you for your awesome masks.  You can download it from her blog here. I am using the png versions for this tutorial.  

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: None

Drop shadow of choice.

Please read all the Artist's/Designer's TOU.

To open an image, I click on the element or paper in the file folder and drag it into PS.

To transfer an element or paper in PS to my tag, I left click and drag it into my working canvas.  

The other way is to left click and drag the element from the folder right onto your tag. 

Either way you will get the same results but the resizing will be different :).  I will be using the both method for this tutorial.

For resizing and rotating I use the Ctrl+T command.

To mirror or Flip go to Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal (mirror) or Flip vertical (Flip).

Remember to save often.

Let's get started.

Open a new 800x800 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Add a new raster layer.

Go to layers, New fill layer, solid color.  When the pop up window appears type in FFFFFF and click ok.

Drag Vivienne's mask into the tag.  Resize 35% and move to the top center.

Drag paper 15 into your tag.  Hold down the shift key and push on the corners until the paper fits the mask.  Click the check mark.  

Right click on the paper layer and select "Create a clipping mask".

Drag element 117 into the tag.  Resize 35% and move to the far left of the mask.  Right click this layer and select "Create a clipping mask".

Now Select all three layers in the layer pallet.  Right click and select convert to smart object.  Duplicate this layer.  Resize the duplicate to W: 63.42% H:-14.72% rotate 1.53. Place on the bottom of the tag. (see mine for placement).  

Duplicate and resize this layer W: 53.13% H:12.33% rotate 178.47 degrees. Place on the bottom of the tag. (see mien for placement). 

Drag element 49 into the tag.  Resize 38.13%, mirror and move to the top right of the mask.

Drag element 112 into the tag.  Resize 26.26% and move to the top left of the mask.

Drag element 115 into the tag.  Resize 23.77%, mirror and move to the bottom of right element 49.

Drag element 82 into the tag.  Resize 50.28% and move to the top left of the mask.

Drag element 97 into the tag.  Resize 21.83% and move to bottom of the heart.

Drag element 81 into the tag.  Move to right of element 97.

Drag element 105 into the tag.  Resize 50.31% and move to bottom of element 82.

Drag frame 3 into the tag.  Resize 24.65% and move to top center of the tag (see mine for placement).

Drage paper 9 into the tag.  Resize 61.06% and move into the frame into a spot you like best.  Select the frame layer.  Using your magic wand, click in the center of each of the frame openings.  Select, modify, expand by 3.  Layer, Layer Mask, Reveal Selection.

Drag element 80 into the tag.  Resize 99.91% and move to bottom right of the frame.

Drag element 60 into the tag.  Resize 24.78% and move to bottom right of element 80.

Drag element 98 into the tag.  Resize 24.33% and move to lower left of the mask.

Drag element 99 into the tag.  Resize 24.64% and move to bottom right of element 60.

Drag element 18 into the tag.  Resize 44.31% and move to bottom of the lower heart of the frame (see mine for placement).

Drag element 96 into the tag.  Resize 28.89% and move to bottom left of the lower heart of the frame.

Drag element 102 into the tag.  Resize 126.03%, rotate -32.11 degrees and move to middle of the two hearts of the frame.

Drag element 121 into the tag.  Resize 28.68% and move over the center of the frame.

Drag element 59 into the tag.  Resize 48.08% and move to top left of the frame.

Drag element 7 into the tag.  Resize 12% and move to top right of the heart.

Drag element 40 into the tag.  Resize 19.03% and move to bottom right of the lower masks.

Drag the main tube into the tag.  Resize 25% and move to the left of the fountain.

Drag Element 123 into the tag.  Resize 20.87% and move to the bottom center of the tube.

Drag element 62 into the tag.  Resize 20.67% and move to bottom left of the tube over her leg.

Drag element 35 into the tag.  Resize 17.40%, mirror and move to right of element 62.

Drag element 104 into the tag.  Resize 27.48% and move to bottom center of element 35.

Drag element 13 into the tag.  Resize 9.93% and move to bottom of the leaves.

Drag element 94 into the tag.  Resize 13.99% and move to bottom of the books.

Drag element 44 into the tag.  Resize 21.75%, mirror and move to the left of the floral heart.

Drag element 61 into the tag.  Resize 14.77% and move to bottom of element 44.

Drag element 77 into the tag.  Resize 31.71% and move to bottom of the teapot.

Drag element 33 into the tag.  Resize 16.40% and move to right of the stacked cases.

Drag element 67 into the tag.  Resize 18.32% and move to bottom left of the mailbox.

Drag element 47 into the tag.  Resize 12.83% and move to the right of element 67.

Drag element 39 into the tag.  Resize 13.31% and move to bottom of element 33.

Drag element 55 into the tag.  Resize 18.17% and move to left of the clock heart.

Drag element 48 into the tag.  Resize 15.87% and move to the right of the house.

Drag element 36 into the tag.  Resize 10.07% and move to bottom right of the teapot.

Drag element 34 into the tag.  Resize 8.72% and move to bottom right of the perfume.

Drag element 12 into the tag.  Resize 8.09% and move to bottom right of the purse.

Drag element 69 into the tag.  Resize 10.76% and move to bottom left of the flowers on the far right.

Drag element 9 into the tag.  Resize 11.48% and move to bottom right of the house.

Drag element 31 into the tag.  Resize 5.91% and move to bottom left of the glass.

Drag element 102 into the tag.  Resize 71.53%, flip, rotate 172.83 degrees and move to bottom of of the chocolate heart.

Drag element 50 into the tag.  Resize 14.03% and move to the right of the chocolate heart.

Add any other elements you like and make any adjustments to the layers.

Crop away any extra space.  

Resize the tag to your liking if needed.  I usually resize mine by 650 on the width side.

Oh almost forgot we need to drop shadow all of our elements.  I actually do the drop shadow at the end :)

Select the element on the bottom of your tag in the layer pallet and double click it.  I started with element 49.

A layer style window will pop up.  Click on Drop shadow. and use the following settings.

Click on image to enlarge it.

Now right click on the layer you just applied the drop shadow.  Click copy layer style.

Now click on the layer above and hold down the shift key, select the layer under the paper layer.  Right click and paste layer styles.  

Select the frame layer, holding down the shift key, select the top layer.  Right click and paste layer styles.  Drop shadow complete :)

Add your copyright and name.

Hide the white background layer Save your tag and export as png.
