This tutorial was written by me on December 31, 2023. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PS.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using Adobe Photoshop 2024 but this tutorial should work with any version.

To open an image, I click on the element or paper in the file folder and drag it into PS.

To transfer an element or paper in PS to my tag, I left click and drag it into my working canvas.  

The other way is to left click and drag the element from the folder right onto your tag. 

Either way you will get the same results but the resizing will be different :).  I will be using the both method for this tutorial.

For resizing and rotating I use the Ctrl+T command.

To mirror or Flip go to Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal (mirror) or Flip vertical (Flip).

Remember to save often.

Let's get started.

Open a new 800x800 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Go to layers, New fill layer, solid color.  When the pop up window appears type in FFFFFF and click ok.

Drag Vivienne's mask into the tag.  Resize 30.29% and move to the top center of the tag.

Drag paper 10 to the tag and resize 25%.  Move over the mask in the tag.  In the Layer's pallet, right click and create a clipping mask.

Drag paper 4 to the tag and resize 22% and flip.  Move over the mask in the tag.  In the Layer's pallet, right click and create a clipping mask.  Change the blend mode of this layer to Linear Burn.  Select the mask and paper layers.  Right click and convert to smart object.

Duplicate the mask.  Resize W: 83.41 x H: -21.85% and move to the bottom center of the tag.  See mine for placement.

Duplicate this mask.  Resize W: 77.35 x H -21.85 and move to the upper left of the bottom center mask.

Drag element 36 into the tag.  Resize 32% and move to the top center of the first mask.

Drag element 1 into the tag.  Resize 21.21% and move to the top center of the first mask slightly to the left.

Drag element 43 into the tag.  Resize 22.78% and move to the top left of the frame.  Duplicate and move to the right and down slightly.

Drag element 17 into the tag.  Resize 7.84% and move to the top right of the frame.

Drag element 32 into the tag.  Resize 10.76% and move to the top left of the frame.

Drag element 33 into the tag.  Resize 18.20% and move to the center of the frames.

Select element 32 layer,  Drag paper 4 into the tag.  Resize it 14.57% and move under the frame into a spot you like best.  Select the top frame, using your magic wand, click in the center of the frame.  Select, modify, expand by 3.  Select the paper layer.  Got ot Layer, layer mask, reveal selection.

Select the frame layer.

Drag element 37 into the tag.  Resize 11.27% and move to the top right of the frame.  Duplicate,  Drag this layer just above the paper layer of the frame.  Mirror it and move to the lower left of the frame.  Now we need that circle mask on this layer.  Holding down the alt key on your computer, click on the mask icon on the paper layer and drag it up to element 37 copy layer.  When you let go of the mouse and alt key it should put a copy of the mask on this layer.

Select the top layer.

Drag element 17 into the tag again.  Resize 10.97% and move to the bottom left of the frame.

Drag element 3 into the tag.  Resize 8% and mirror.  Move to the bottom of the ball.

Drag element 13 into the tag.  Resize 9% and move to the bottom of the lowers slightly to the right.

Drag element 41 into the tag.  Resize 11.10% and move to the top left of the frame.  See my tag for placement.

Drag element 2 into the tag.  Resize 13.22% and move to the top left of the tag.

Drag element 3 into the tag again.  Resize 10.02% and move to the bottom right of the frame.

Drag your tube into the tag.  Resize 59.43% and move to the center of the frame.

Drag the free 2024 wordart into the tag.  Resize 7.98% and move to the lower left of the tube.

Drag element 7 into the tag.  Resize 7.95% and move to the bottom of 2024 wordart.

Drag element 18 into the tag.  Resize 5.03% and move to the right side of the wordart.

Drag element 20 into the tag.  Resize 9.42% and move to the lower right of the tag.

Drag element 24 into the tag.  Resize 10.58% and move to the right of the wordart.

Drag element 47 into the tag.  Resize 8.60% and move to the lower center of the cake.

Drag element 19 into the tag.  Resize 5.86% and move to the lower left of the cake.

Drag element 26 into the tag.  Resize 7.64% and move to the left side of the candles.

Drag element 29 into the tag.  Resize 8.37% and move to the left side of the cake on the right.

Drag element 22 into the tag.  Resize 7.47% and move to the left side of the bottle.

Drag element 11 into the tag.  Resize 3.82% and move to the bottom right of the first bottle.

Drag element 31 into the tag.  Resize 4.78% and move to the far left in front of the bottles in the bucket.

Drag element 10 into the tag.  Resize 6.38% and move to the left of the larger bottles on the right.

Drag element 4 into the tag.  Resize 7.74% and move to the bottom center.

Drag element 5 into the tag.  Resize 4.31% and move to the bottom of the bottles on the right.

Drag element 30 into the tag.  Resize 5.08% and move to the left of the lantern.

Drag element 27 into the tag.  4.36% and move to the left of the bear.

Drag element 8 into the tag.  Resize 2.70% and move to the right of the purse.

Add any other elements you like and make any adjustments to the layers.

Crop away any extra space.  

Oh almost forgot we need to drop shadow all of our elements.  I actually do the drop shadow at the end :)

Select the element on the bottom of your tag in the layer pallet in this case it's element 1.  Select the FX button on the bottom of your layer pallet.

A layer style window will pop up.  Click on Drop shadow. and use the following settings:

Outer glow with these settings:

Now right click on the layer you just applied the drop shadow.  Click copy layer style.

Select element 17 layer.  Hold down the shift key and select element 32 layer.  Right click and paste layer style.

Select element 37 copy layer.  Hold down the shift key and select the top layer.  Right click and paste layer style.

Drop shadow complete :)

Add your copyright and name.

Hide the white background layer Save your tag and export as png.
